Care of the Crab ~ 25 Jun 2013

As we go through Jupiter in Cancer (starting today) we know that he neatly fits into the grand sextile happening just about a month from now. We know he promises to trine Saturn soon and that’s amazing and wonderful - an optimistic alignment of expansion and contraction. Did I mention that happens three times? Yep. Coming up on July 17th, December 13th and next year on May 24th.

A heap of astrologers will give those trines a lot of press; including me in my next post. What most astrologers will not note are the pattens that heliocentric Jupiter makes with other planets’ orbital elements (nodes and perihelia - closest contact with the Sun) in the next months. Following is a summary of the trending trek heliocentric adventure of Jupiter in Cancer, also known as care of the crab. You know, fostering the things that are really good for you... and really basic.

So this is a plan ahead e-zine. Print and post in your psyche’s pantry. That way, it will be there when the appropriate timing unfolds.

According to the Earth’s point of view, Jupiter is now in Cancer. From the Sun’s point of view he holds back on this dive in until the 6th of July. The suggestion here is that the geocentric movement of Jupiter brings out major shifts in collective trends in fashion, style, marketing, politics, theology and the attitude toward the global economy (not to be construed as the global economy); this shifts now. However, the actually psychic significance and ultimate mundane meeting of the abrupt momentum change sinks in ten days hence.

It should be noted here that all the signatures indicated below are more reaction and realization than manifestation. Jupiterian events may occur before or after these times. These dates signify grasping the potency of Jupiter’s Cancerian splash as the meaning seeps into the psyche - personal and global.

July 22nd - Jupiter conjoins Saturn’s perihelion

> Reality and the hard core facts of the physical plane dominate emotional and spiritual aspects of planning.

> Strategies are set based upon one’s current position in life, the intended destination and what it takes to get from here to there.

> Laws, mundane and spiritual, are challenged for authenticity, applicability and anachronism.

September 4th - Pluto aligns with Jupiter’s south node

> If you and your life ran on nuclear power - the safe kind, of course - how much farther down the road would you be? With that definition in mind, figure out how to get to that point on the road now, as if you are nuclear powered.

> According to Shakespeare, killing the lawyers seemed like a plan. But here, arbitrators skilled in mundane matters, political arenas and spiritual dimensions, step in to ensure that those too silly to realize their actions cut off noses to spite faces, do not create mayhem. And all those Hollywood galactic battle movies, super hero war scenarios and even comic book characters lose luster because of the suspension of disbelief required to watch. No point in blowing your circuit breakers as you step out from a movie theater into reality. Reality is even more intense, potent, and potentially life-changing if grappled with - in a good way.

> As Confucius pointed out, the past must be given actuality. Learn from your historical past and stop doing what does not work. Respect tradition, but not so much as to allow ancient protocols to impair progress. Family values campaigns, if based upon manipulative agendas, fail. Efforts to halt poverty and hunger without political pinning serve the entire planet.

September 7th - Jupiter crosses Sedna’s perihelion

> Hopefully exploitation of the oceans legislation makes its way onto the dockets of world leaders. Sustainable fishing and ocean (and large lake) pollution standards come up for debate, and demand acceptance.

> In general, the realization that projecting thoughts through the airwaves, vibing your wishes at someone, or dreaming agendas at or about another person do not fit the definition of defining needs. Distinguish between idle wishing and intended affirmation.

> The concept of duo diligence regarding any major life decision works well if ingrained in collective consciousness. Before signing those papers, do research. Fact check and ensure that what is promised can actually be delivered. Make sure that producer actually is connected with the major studio he’s claiming.

November 9th - Jupiter drops in on his own north node

>A new breed of life coaches pop up all over the place. It will be like goal setting was only just discovered yesterday. If someone has a foolproof method for you, smile, wave, back away and conjure your own objects and optimism.

>Yep, it’s a “get your own damn goals” time.

> Opinions rendered to others as strong life suggestions need to be checked out in the consciousness tent pitched in your back yard.

December 16th - Jupiter meets up with the north node of Vesta

> It is time to notice if those keeping the spark alive of cooling agendas actually work to create progress, or if they are just obnoxious troublemakers.

> Find a way of keeping your personal powder dry. No getting caught up in emotional waves generated by others. With dry powder, keep your flint handy. Learn when to strike a spark, ignite and move forward toward personal destinations with fiery fury.

> Spread, light, warmth and good will. It is the holiday season in many theologies. Light those holiday candles with added intention, and symbolically clean your hearth.

December 20th - Jupiter aligns with Sirius

> Emotional healing is the priority. Pump the psychic bilges. When empty, fill the empty space with something good. Imagining energy running from the celestial canopy above into your being works well.

December 26th - Jupiter matches location with Earth’s perihelion

> Goals must be based upon reality, capability, reality, enthusiasm, reality, confidence, reality and optimism. No need to wait until next year to set New Year’s resolutions. It is worth noting that in this case, the New Year is twelve years long.

> If there’s optimism in the waning days of the year, surf it. Get your enthusiasm on. Be positive. Encourage others. Lend a hand. Mentor. Pass along practical wisdom (only when approached for it, though).

> Conduct an inventory of life. Audit your resources. Budget your next major goals on three year templates.

March 4th 2014 - Jupiter returns a favor to Pluto meeting his north node

> Realizations about mining - for essential staple and luxury items - oil pipelines and any subterranean enterprise come under additional scrutiny. Legislation likely goes with this. Plutocrats who have damaged investors and the planet might actually have to pay the piper.

> Humans borrow and amend a motto from Texas. Don’t mess with our planet... especially regarding what lies below.

> Establish plans for personal empowerment, spiritual upliftment and the good that can be done once enlightened. Get enlightened and do the dharmic give back.

April 15th 2014 - Jupiter engages the north node of Saturn

> Collective global economic optimism sprouts. There is a real reason for hope, not just idle wishing.

 > Practicality and aspiration meld into one powerful alloy of progress.

> The blend between expansion and contraction is just about ideal.

For the next ten months Jupiter works overtime ensuring heart felt emotions prevail. He diligently works to create calm in the psychic systems of all beings - from plants and stones, fish and birds to mammals, including humans. This calm lowers defensiveness - national and personal - and creates a cool, soothing baseline. Indeed, Jupiter is here to care for the crab.
